30+ PSI and pining the boost gauge

Cold weather and turbos work wonders. But i have a t-28 killer and a Hallman MBC running at 17 psi... i think. My WOT pulls through 1st 2nd and third gear is pining the boost gauge at 30+ psi. The colder it gets, the more it does it. It is not creep, because it does start to drop back down to 17 (spiking) Im hitting fuel cut on a daily basis.. so i turn down the boost..still the same thing, just in a smaller scale. What can i do so i dont blow anything up? Could there be something wrong with the wastegate?

I cant help you, but I will say dont let that car keep hitting fuel cut, or you will be in the same situation as me. "melted piston"

my ####ing mbc did the same ####in thing that is probably why my motor blew up i was riunning 20+psi so i went and bought a hks evc no more ####in round

Check your wastegate. It sounds like it might be sticking.

dude whatever u do...dont let ur car hit 30psi
thats going to completely total the engine....ur askin for it if u keep hittin fuel cut

i was runnin plus 20psi for a while and didnt know cause i didnt have a boost guage...i can guarantee my valves are power coated white on the exhaust sides just from sooo much exhauststrain in my engine, i still have everything stock...very big mistake....turn it down and clean ur engine with some choke cleaner

My Killer did that too, but it was my MBC. I had to go back to stock boost until my new boost controller gets here. I was getting nasty spikes too.

just went out for a drive, a little spike at 19 psi and a steady 16.... ironic that it hasnt driven like that in a while. i just put in my SAFC-2, i want to make sure it doesnt do that after i tune it...
