is my boost gauge broken?

i just got a new boost gauge and when i blew into the hose it showed no boost reading, but when i sucked into it it showed vac.
could my gauge be ####ed??

install it, see if it shows boost, if not, its probably broken, or u hooked it up wrong

You can't blow enough pressure to generate a boost reading. I tried when I got mine, too. No luck. It will work fine when it's installed though.
