oil lines

well, i found my oil leak on my 1g. one of the metal elbows coming fromt he bottom of my oil pump, has a crack in it, rite on the elbow. any suggestions on fixing this thing?

You can try RTV Grey, but replacing the pipe would be the best choice.

JB Weld would probably work better than RTV. It would take the heat better. Just make sure the metal is clean if you use it.

Oil pump? Do you mean the filter housing? Pull it off and either put on a new one or have the pipe welded up.

No glue's gonna work. If you can get it off, and cleaned well enough, there's an aluminum brazing rod available that _might_ work, but for all the dicking around, just replace it.
