it started last winter, a sever backfire type situation, what i thought was fuel cut...

flash forward till now, i recently installed the translator + gm maf, it's supposed to eliminate fuel cut, (if that's what i'm experiencing) and it does, but here's my problem:

I have a 6-bolt in a 2g, i do not have dsmlink so to keep random misfires at bay i have a potentiometer. with the pot. installed, i STILL hit fuel cut (at like 11psi-14psi) with it no installed i dont' hit fuel cut BUT i get a misfire so it's a lose/lose situation. recently (i'm thinking it's due to cold weather) it started "fuel cutting" worse than ever, now at like 14psi i get fuel cut even with the translator leaned out a bit. what the hell is going on?

I don't remember whether or not the 3KGT Fuel Pump will outflow your stock FPR. If it can, that could POSSIBLY be why your car is running like crap. Anyone else, feel free to chime in.
