car wants to die when revved

M y car wants to idle fine but when I rev it up and the rpms start to come back down they want to drop to low and the car almost dies.... just wondering if any one as any info. I've checked all my intake tubes and MAF and everything is tight. if anyone has anything just give me some ideas to go on.
