I teed intot he bov line and onto the wastegate, an i caped off the tit on the turbo and n the bcs. Now i can barly hear the bov.... What is wrong, i went throught the tubes and everything seems tight. Help.....

Personaly, I think the turbo outlet elbow nipple (if 2G's have them) is a way better boost source than the BOV/Intake mani line. Also, when you install and MBC, you should eliminate the BCS out of the equation (the MBC will do the BCS's job).

i installed a dejon type intake, and i lost my BOV noise, i could here it more with the stock everything setup.

test for leaks! if thats not the case....adn you haven't cut the dump tube....then maybe it's because you're running 8lbs. This isn't a civic, turn it up to like 15-16 ish. Make sure you trim the length of the lines of your boost controller down to the absolute minimum. Long lines mean boost spike, and that sucks. When my boost spikes to about 18-19 psi I can hear my 1G bov screaching cuz it's leaking...I have to shorten my lines a bit more.

Went for another drive tonight to check on the bov... The bov was loud when installed with the stock intake. I put a dejon tool intake in and a joe p mbc, know i can't hear the bov, only a little sputter when i let off the gas. Could me teeing into the bov line be the culprit?????

Did you cut the dump tube, or does the dejon-tool intake not have a dump tube? That coud be the lack of noise, the dump tube restricts the air as it's coming from the IC piping, making the whoosh sound, with no restriction it's alot higher, unless you turn up the boost. :D

The dejon has no dump tube.. I called dave(works at dejon) and he said that it typically makes the bov louder(the intke). I dont get it , i can't hear the bov....

Today i took my intake off to put another coupling on the turbo , and i found that the nipple on the turbo housing was gone.. I caped it off and zipped tied it. Now i can hear the bov a lil bettter....;)
