Smoking Just A Little

i just purchased a 96 Talon That has been sitting for over a year....starts rite up fine but has alot of drips of water coming out of the tail pipe and a sumtimes alot of white smoke.....should this eventrully wear off or should i be expecting sumthing wrong....???

and one more thing when i rev it up to say 6 grand in quick bursts it gives out a blow of blue smoke.....tell me whats wrong

i myself am having white smoke on my eclipse but i know its because i am running overrich umm but in your case check several things, are you burning oil, possible coolent leak, head gasket cracked or blown. check those and you should find the problem.

Blue smoke is oil burning which if the car sat for a while the valve seals could be dry rotted and need replaced, the white smoke could be coolant or a lean mixture.

when i first got my gst it would smoke alot too. but i knew what its problem was. whenever i got the turbo spooled up and let off to shift or decel it wouls crop dust . but i replaced the turbo and not a wisp of smoke now. but thats not your prob since your a n/t just thought i'd share my experience

i was wondering if it could have anything to do with the piston rings....and the car only has 113,000 on it....

and one more thing when i take out the spark plugs after justin running it they are dripping wet.....could that mean that my car is running to rich too?
