I have two problems with my 97 Gst.
I have checked my injectors as well as had my fuel filter changed and I smell gas fumes coming in my car as if I wasted gas in my passenger seat or something, do anyone know what the problem could be?

My next problem is I noticed that my rpms goes up real slow and I get no where. The turbo begins spooling, but I don't get anywhere. My car is an auto and this happens every now and then. Yesterday I was merging into traffic when I gave it gas to accelerate the rpms ran to 7500 and no acceleration I let off of the accelerator and then pressed it again and everything was fine. My problem is could this be the torque converter or the tranny itself?
During normal driving the car shifts perfect thru all gears.
I'm also wondering could this be anything other than the tranny.
Any help is gladly appreciated.

first thing i would do is check under the rear seat where the fuel pump is...

Sounds like you have a vacum leak of some sort. Check all hoses connecting to your intercooler turbo upper intercooler piping etc...
