Simple Turbo Question

[DSM420]

I need some opinions on something. I tried the VFAQ but couldn't find anything on this. I when I turn up the MBC up to 14psi the car sputters and you can hear metal in the turbo banging up againest something or something clipping. Something which makes it seem obivous that there is something wrong. But the turbo works fine with the boost solenoid connected pulling 11psi with the free mod. Checked the turbo for shaft play, none. Checked the oil level ok. Checked the turbo for leaking oil, none. It doesn't even have cracks in it.

if you don't have a logger, go get one. you should not be playing with boost without one. Also, I doubt it's the turbo making that noise you here bit i don't have a clue wha tit could be.

grab a log at 14psi and we get figure out what it is doing.
