Just rebuilt my motor and finished putting everything back in. Tried to crank but the engine would not start. I thought the problem was timing, initially, but after taking the t-belt off and retiming about 12 times I think I have it as close as you can get it. Now, I checked for spark and the plugs were firing. I am getting fuel because I can smell gas on the plugs. When I turn the cam angle sensor in the clock-wise direction the engine wants to start but will not stay cranked. I did a compression check and got 150psi in the #1 cylinder even though the rings have not seated. There is some noise coming from the valvetrain and the exhaust sounds as if it is out of time. I have tried everything I know to do but I cant get it to start. Any Ideas? Also I still have not checked the voltage on the cam angle sensor connector itself. I know it is supposed to be 12 volts on the number 4 hookup but other than that I am lost. I will do some checks tomorrow and repost. Thanks.
