ok, heres the deal.... my car (1990 NT Talon, automatic) was stallin out constantly, and finally BAM!!! car wont start, so i have it towed to the shop... turns out that a capacitor blew in the ECU and melted it. So, $550 and one new ECU later, the car still stalls out constantly!!!:barf:
so does anyone have a clue as to why it is still stalling???

thanks!

Don't forget to check the BISS. If it is stalling out constantly, my bet is that the base idle needs to be set.

AWDriven.

Make sure the throttle body is clean prior to checking Base Idle. Dirt, PCV fume residue and other contaminants will clog up the throttle body at the plate area causing a restricted air flow. Adjusting the BISS WITHOUT cleaning the throttle body first will only resolve an idle problem until the build-up is even greater.
