Hey its me again...its been a while sense i posted here..LOL so for a few updates...i lost my license until january cuz i got 2 speedin tickets in a year but i still got my 98 dsm... heh...and i just wanna try and get this problem fixed so that when i get my license back and i can drive my car my passenger window will be fixed and not F*ed up...

Yeah so i have power windows in my car. My passenger window goes down very shaky..and and u try and put it back up..often it wont make it all the way...like ill have to help pull it up...also when it does make it all the way...there is a gap at the end of my door where the window is not flush with the door...so there is like a half inch space between where the window ends and the end of the door... and to fix it i usually have to pull the window up and pull to the side as im holding my power window button to fix it...

so what i was wondering is what i would expect to pay to get it fixed by a shop...or if its possible can me and my dad fix it ourselves while the weather is still nice... thanks for your help and ill be lookikn forward to getting some feedback on this, if any...

btw if anyone had this problem before and has like a step by step walkthru...it would be greatly appreciated if u post it...and if the step by step walkthru included pictures then i would just be forever grateful.. LOL thanks

I had the same thing. Pretty easy to fix if it is the same thing with mine. If you remove the door panel and plastic, on the back of the window there is a spot were a large washer with a nut combination is suppost to hold the window from going forward. Found mine laying in the bottom of my door! On the window track, there is a stud that sticks out that the window should attach to. Run the window up and down and you should see it. If not, just follow the track up to the top of the door with you hand and you should feel it. Just pull it toward the opening and run the window down until it is close. Then just reattach the nut/washer deal on the stud. Easier said than done. Sort of hard to get your hand behind there but I did it. Window has been quiet and worked great ever since! Good luck. Hope that helps.
