Has anybody here done this? I have been searching for awhile now, but I can not find anything. I know that a few companys make different ones for different turbos, but I am not interested in purchasing one. Mine works fine the way it is, just the rod isn't long enough after I put on my new exhaust turbine housing.

What I thought of doing is cutting the rod and threading the ends with a die. Then, use some sort of adjustable rod between the two. Can I find anything like this at ACE Hardware or some other hardware store? What would a part like this be called? Thanks for the help!!! :D
