Danville PA 92 TSI ecm problems

car died ,pulled the ecm (stinky) replaced the caps,car started and ran rough for about 1 day with poor idle (high then low)then died again,no check engine light.

bought a used e-prom ecu with a TMO chip,still no start but it does try-sputtering and gas smell,now has check engine light,but I don't have a code reader and the radio shack buzzer thing didn't work for me.this ecm is questionable (seller told me that)


now I'm stuck with no fast car just my truck,, yeah yeah poor me

$6000 into the talon and it just sits there


$4000 truck 0 problems



please anyone in the Danville PA area let me try your ecm before I waste more money

Yeah I just put in a TMO Eprom chip in my 95 talon, so I go to test it out and my car starts sputtering like crazy and Im readin real lean on my A/D gauge.........WTF is up with this chip???????????
