2nd O2 sensor with test pipe?

Im wondering the same thing cause I got one coming in a few days, there is a Vfaq on how to eliminate it completly but he doesnt say how it effects performance. Ive also heard just pull it out , block the hole and mount it outside your exhaust.

Some 2g's get it while others don't. When i put my test pipe on the cel light didn't go on until 3 days later, then i just disconnected the battery and let the ecu reset and it didn't go on for another 3 days. The best thing to do is unplug the o2 sensor, wrap it in aluminum foil and zip tie it up somewhere under the car, and plug up the hole it went into on the exhaust pipe. Mine hasn't went on since and its been over a month so far.

i'm not to familiar with n/t's but as far as i know they share the same exhaust setup as a gst but only with smaller piping. You might have got a turbo exhaust thus needing you to block the hole. How big is the piping 2.5in? Anyways if your an n/t leave you cat on b/c without it you will only be losing power. N/t's need back pressure keep the cat on...

Sure you might get alittle better top end but your low end is going to really suck. You will gain more time on you quarter, but i don't think that you can get any worse than the 17's that you run with an n/t. Just replace the cat or get a high flow. Plus without a cat on n/t is going to be obnoxiously loud.:barf:

yea, 17 seconds is bad. But guys there with grand nationals that run 9s are complaing cause they were "only runnings 10s". Plus take into account my ATX and that it needed to be service "badly", quoting my mechanic and my busted trans mount. But I guess some people just have to be d*cks about everything :thumb:

dude chill out i'm not being a d*ck. I used to have an n/t also. I'm just saying that if you put a testpipe on your car it will be slower, but i guess you'll just have to find that out for yourself!
