let off gas and gain rpms

my auto trany eclipse will gain about 500 rpm when you let off the gas after you reach any steady speed for a few seconds. it will also do this after you accelerate and let the gas off. bad tps ?

well, have you had the throttle body apart? and possibly put the spring on backwards.,? so its opening up from spring pressure?
