A doubt - boost gauge

A question. . . . . which is the value reading in the boost gauge (Eclipse GST 95), when stopped and close to the 800 rpms?

- 18 psi?
- 14 psi?
- 12 psi?

I ask that because in my car I am reading 12 psi (stoped @ 800 rpms); but that is resembling strange. . . .

Does anybody can tell me if is a problem? and which the probable problem?

You should be in vacuum at idle.. The - in front of the number doesn't mean your boosting.

I get about a -23 @ idle (vacumm)

I did seek for some leak, but didn't I find anything, and don't I get to do the vacuum to pass of -12 hg @ idle anybody has some opinion about that ?

Could that be caused for some leak in the valves? (recently I made the head of my car. .

your using an after market gauge right? you might want to check the line going to the gauge and make sure its not pinched or something.
