asdf,
I'm in need of some major exhaust work...I have a header, cat, and muffler(currently on car) I need a shop to put header on(need gasket for that) weld cat on(has no flanges on it) and I need a pipe (2 1/2") from the cat to the muffler and weld pipes together of course.....I got a quote for 250-300 bucks from a shop what would be a resonable price to pay for this work?? thanks

yeah do you know of anyone local to take it 2....I've used Menikee(not sure of the spelling) and I've found out that they suck! this quote is from the Swetts tire shop on hogan road...there sign says by the road.."cheapest Custom Exhaust in town" hmmm I've gotta question that really...cars louder than loud now...and sounds like ass....

I called around some places here, 210 at one shop for 2.5" press bent. Another shop quoted me 140 for the same. I think both of them used 16 gauge steel so good quality pipes. If I was to do that it would come out to be more then 400 bucks because I planned to buy the Apexi N1 Turbo muffler, so I decided just to buy the Extreme PSI 3" custom catback for 400. Mandrel bent, stainless steel ceramic coated, good stuff.
