:| Ok so here's the problem. After buying the my car, I began to have acceleration problems. I found out that my wastegate was badly cracked and my clutch was going. So I just got a new clutch and used turbo. Both stock parts. When I got my car back from my mechanic it ran great, and was nice a quick. Then today when I was sitting at a stoplight. I go to put it into first gear. I let go of the clutch and apply the gas, then all of a sudden a muffled BAM! came from the tranny (I think..). It wasn't fully engaged into first so I put it back into first and begin driving, and find out my accerlation is shit...again. It couldn't be the clutch becuase I just got it replaced and when the transmission was pulled out last time, my mechic said it was fine. So what would cause the car to feel like the clutch is slipping and not engage into gear properly?

It's a 93' Elcipse GSX
