Cant get in gear

i cant get my 5spd AWD talon 2g in gear, it'll go into reverse but it'll grind like mad. WTF?

I just did a 1g head/block swap.

Did you put the 1g engine in yourself or have somebody else do it? If someone else did the work take it back to them right away. If you did it yourself make sure you have the linkage adjusted and connected correctly. Could be a few things you screwed up when re-installing the tranny also.

is your clutching engaging all of the way? Check your fluid, make sure it is bleed, and make sure your clutch is working right(you may have to adjust it a lil, vfaq about it. VERY easy)

I think it could be the seal on the clutch fliud resivoir(sp?) The seal peeled off around the edges. Could this be it I REALLY dont want to drop the tranny again.

ive done all the work myself and it was a lot harder then a turbo swap.
