Changed front o2 sensor need to reset ecu?

hi i just now changed my o2 sensor and it stopped to smell like gas but my CEL is still on do i need to reset my ECU and how do i reset the ECU?????

Remove your ecu fuse or disconnect your battery for 15 - 30 min.

I always disconnect the negative and positive terminals and touch them together for about 30 seconds. Fixes the CEL!

i didnt need to reset my light came off and i really have better gas mileage!!! from west palm beach to ft, lauderdale it used 1/4 tank and now it bearly goes down!!
