Check engine light. dun dun dun

I was idleing my car for about 20 seconds after driving home the other day and my check engine light came on. Ive only had the car a few days but the ABS light, the Radiator light and now the check engine light has come on. the ABS and radiator light go on and off randomly but the engine light has stayed on since last night. I heard that these are all symptoms of a bad battery or alternator, does that sound possible?

Anyways my main question is, the engine doesnt seem to sound any differant since the light came on, except maybe less power in 1st and 2nd gear, but That is probobly just me going really light on the throttle until I get the car to the shop. IM broke till thursday should it be alright till then?

great, I was very worried. how did you fix yours? replace it your self? or have a shop do it.
