Car won't start up, Please HELP!

Okay everyone,

I recently took out my head and changed the timing belt, head gasket and every seal you can think of. After putting everything back together, the car wouldn't want to start up. The engine cranks and rotates but it won't start! I get spark and fuel and the crank rotates well. Battery is new and timing is done correctly. I also checked every fuse, and swapped ECU's. Is there anything that I'm missing?

To make any internal combustion engine work, you need spark, fuel, and compression, (and correct spark timing to make it run right). If you definitely have spark (you can see the spark plug sparking when you pull the plug out) and you definitely have fuel, then its time to do a compression check. Compression testers are like $20 at any auto parts store and worth every cent. Make sure you take all the spark plugs out when doing the compression test, and you may want to disconnect the coil so you dont zap yourself. Good Luck!!!!!
ps, the last time I did that I found 1 burned exhaust valve.......I just put my engine back together last week......Only took me an hour and a half to get the head off......thats gotta be a record, or maybe I just do it too often.....
