This problem is pissing me off so bad. THe problem is that i have a automatic tranny , so when i stomp on the gas the car slowly climbs the rpms and then just takes of like a bat out of hell, the lag is like 5 seconds long then just goes. So far i have checked my smic for holes or anything, intercooler piping, i found that i had a leak coming from a injector, i stopped that, and it is still doing it. If any body has any suggestions on wut it could be it will appreciated.

Sounds like it could a bad 02 sensor... I was running LEADED race gas (C16) this weekend at a regional race, Clash of the Titans, and pulled a 1.73 60ft... then a few passes later, my 02 sensor took a dump and I cut a neck snapping 2.66 60ft... the delay you are describing could be from a bad 02 sensor... check it with a datalogger or with someone who has a scan tool.
