Need Help With Timing Belt

Hello, I just recently put a new timing belt in my 91 Talon and I was working on it today, I had the upper timing cover off and I was playin with the throttle when I hit the gas hard the belt started to jump up and down a bit. Is this normal? The belt is tight I tore everything apart and checked it out. Could the belt be streched? I just put it on maybe 5000 miles ago if that. Thanks in advance for any help.

try twisting the section between the two cam gears. if the belt twists more than a 1/4 turn, get it replaced ASAP. also check the tensioner to see if it sticks. if it does spray a little pb blaster on it to unstick it

auto tensioner buddy i tore mine apart 3 times before i figures that out yours sounds jus like how mine was check that first. then change the belt
