Jacksonville,
I have light blue smoke coming from my exhaust when the car idles and even takes off, not a cloud by any means but enough to irritate me. What I have doen so far is change the PCV valve, it was allowing blow by, smoke calmed down quite a bit. Pulled the intake off and checked for shaft play, absolutely none, tight as it can be (turbo has under 10k but I thought maybe). Compression test which was between 148 and 154 on all 4 cylinders. Tried it again wet and it barely raised (probably due to increased volume in cylinders). I am really not sure where to go next, I have not noticed a drop in performance at all. Car still drives great and idles as crappy as it has for a while now
. I have searched all over this board and read probably a years worth of posts on the problems other people have had and I can coem u-p with nothing. The Compression numbers seem great for the car and the miles on the motor and how hard I drive it. Just makes no sense why it smokes like that with no hint of anything wrong elsewhere. I even cranked the car with radiator cap off and let it run until the thermostat opened and no bubbles. Everything checks great that I can think of, anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
