So last week I was doing some basic maintence and saw that my coolant reserve tank was a bit dark. I poped it open and found some sort of crap that looked a lot like oil. 
Knowing that the reserve tank is not always a good indication of what is actually in the radiator I drained a bit of coolant from that. I found the same thing that was in my reserve tank.
It looked like this:
Took the car, which is a 3G, into Mitsu. They performed all the basic tests. Leak down tests where the pressurize the cylinders and then look for bubbles in the radiator. My coolant system held pressure for 35 minutes. They also said they put some sort of die in the coolant and traced it through the system. Still not finding the problem.
I am going to redo these tests on my own shortly. I just wanted to see if you guys had any ideas or reccomendations on where I should go from here.
