Strange Loss under Load WILL PAY FOR AWNSER!

After buying my 6 DSM. I thought picking this 91 DSM AWD Turbo up for like 800 bux was a good deal. The dealer said he had no idea why the car would drive perfect unless you gunned it and then i stuttered a lot. Well thinking it was only a boost leak after driving the car I bought it and tore it part looking for a boost leak it never had. Now I am stuck. I have changed the fuel system and plugs and wires and no luck. Whenever I push this car it feels almost like fuel cut and there IS A STRANG CLICKING from around the ECU when ever this stuttering happens. I have no idea what it could be or how to fix it. Could someone please help me. I will repay your help with PAY PAL no joke if you can tell me what is wrong with it and when I fix it if thats really it I will make it well worth your while. Thanks

ECU clicking?

Leaking capacitors. You might be able to save the ECU if that's the case. Pull out the ECU and inspect it. http://machv.com/ecucaprepkit.html sell higher-temp tolerating capacitors.

Could send it for repair if extensively damaged or buy replacement.

Could find a new ECU from junkyard (should be same specs car)

Could buy an aftermarket management.

Why offer to pay someone? This info is all over the DSM-related sites.

Are you pretty positive its my ECU? I mean does this happen a lot? I jsut don't want to go get a new ecu and find out thats not it.

While wiring my 4g63 into my RWD Mightymax, I found that the little gold box (has about 6 or 8 wires coming out of it) , on the pass side (i think) of the ECU sends power to the fuel pump. I know that it is a relay and has the ability to click, and kill fuel pressure.....you may want to have somebody put their hands on the gold box and the ecu, while you drive and see which part is making noise. Definitely dont rule out the ECU, because it is common. You should see if you can swap one from a working car and narrow down the problem a little more. Anywho......Good luck!

Hey bud, I just got done taking my Ecu to a computer repair shop yesterday and their only chargin me 30bux to repair my capacitors! (They had this catalog of capacitors and just ordered them)
Anyhow MIGHTY MAX that lil gold box does click when i try to start the car but my car doesnt even try to turn over or anything just that damn clicking???????? Would you or anyone else elaborate on that box and why it would cause my problem???????????????

Wow you guys are so ####ing bad ass I love you all. I am in Dallas right now for a convention but as soon as I get back I have a lot mroe things to check.
