Camshaft Angle sensor

My camshaft angle sensor isnt plugged in, and I cannot see the wire that is supposed to go in there, otherwise I would have put it back on. Would anyone be able to tell me where the wire is supposed to come from so hopefully I can find it and plug it back in.

I would be grateful for any help.

it should be near you intake manifold with 3 wires,

in the same wiring harness as the injectors. big red plug with 4 prongs one empty.

Question, I've been troubleshooting my GST for sometime now and am confused. I got a code for the Camshaft Position Sensor and have replaced it. My question is, Are the Camshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft Angle Sensor the same part? I would say No because looking at the forums and repair manual there are two different sensor in two different locations. If they are two different parts, is the Angel Sensor hard to get to? Will I have to remove the timing belt to get to it? I also bought a Crankshaft Position Sensor, I understand I do have to remove the Timing Belt to get to it. Please clarify. Very much appreciated! They are considered upper and lower CAM sensors in some books as well. If replacing the lower one you will need to remove the timing belt the upper one should be on the passenger side on the end of the intake cam if its the 2gb?

My apologies. You can just rotate the crank so that the trigger plate gap allows removal of the sensor. I guess it was easier whenever I had my timing belt off to just remove it. I went to the old 1g styla CAS though so that I can adjust timing as well.
