Hello

My clutch seem to start slipping, engine speed increases but the vehicle speed will not
follow as normaly! Ex: Went I pull hard on the gas the clutch will really slips in 2rd 3rd 4th and 5th gear.

Friends of mine told me that it could be " clutch plate worn ... warped pressure plate or flywhell...

what to do? would buying a new centerforce dual friction clutch solve my problem?

I kinda lost in mecanic :( does a new clutch kit as new pressure plate and flywheel?

please help me thanks :thumb:

Wow. Sounds terribly familiar... =)

I just bought a 94 TSI AWD and it does the exact same thing.

I brought it to a shop and i just got the call about 20 minuets ago.

My clutch is fried.

Which is cool because I paid next to nothing for the car and its in stellar condition... other then the clutch. =)

I am getting the Centerforce dual friction clutch installed tonight =)

Also the Mechanic who’s doing it is good friends of my family and is very well versed when it comes to DSM.
He said nothing about replacing the pressure plate and flywheel.

Cheers.
Jonathan.

You should replace both the pressure plate and clutch disc. You can either get a high performance flywheel or just get the stock one resurfaced.
