here's my story
i bought a jdm engine got it rebuilt to spec . i put on a 16g 520injectors i removed the balance shaft put on some head studs and exhaust .
so 2000 km i'm still doing a nice and slow break in. i was driving one day and i gave the car some gas and shifted a 5000rpm. then i start to hear this noise so i pull over and open the hood, give the car some gas and i hear this load grinding noise.
so next day i bring the car to a shop that built my motor and they pull off my oil pan and you see my #1 bearing torn and stating to shed off metal shreds. i put in new bearings so i don't see how this happened. the turbo was new.
can anyone tell me how this happened i never even floored the car, was it just a defective bearing??? or did my 6 bold crank walk
