I'd like to drive my new Eclipse but I need some help with the radiator fans

The radiator fans don't come on. I've eliminated the relay and fuse as the culprit, and I'm leaning on a bad heat sensor. Also, what is the pipe located in front of the radiator on a 91 GSX, because that is leaking. Thanks in advance.

If you turn on your A/C do the fans turn on? If so then your fans, wiring, relays.. ect are working. I would test both temp sensors at that point. If the fans do not turn on with the A/C on then you have an electrical or fan problem.

Make sure that your coolant is flowing and that your car is not overheating. If the coolant does not flow through the thermostat housing then the sensors will "think" that the engine is still cool and the fan will not come on. The pipe in the front of the rediator is an A/C pipe (not exactly sure what it does though)

Thanks for the replies guys. It turns out a wire had corroded somewhere between the relay and ECU. The pipe in front of the radiator is to cool the power steering fluid.
