Crown Point,
does anyone know how to recharge the system particularly i need to know where the low pressure line is to hook up the recharge kit?

please help!

Look under your hood for a little thing that looks like a tire valve stem cover. You should find 2 of them. One will have an L and one will have an H on them. The L stands for LOW.

Beyond that, follow the instructions on the recharge kit, it's about all you need to know.

problem is i cannot find the low line valve to hook it up to. i found the high but the low is not where i can find it.

Way the hell down back behind the timing belts, between the firewall and the compressor. Yes, there's really a compressor down there, aren't you glad you don't have to pull yours out? Under the intake manifold. It should have a light turquoise cap on it, and you'll find it's 3" further away than your recharge hose will reach. Oh, and they put all those hoses, lines, wires and brackets in there so no one more robust of build than Michael Jackson can get his goddamned little gloved hand down in there.

Technically, DSMs don't have mothers, so it's not accurate to call them that.

Also, once dented in a fit of rage, automotive fenders stay that way.:thumb:

well guess what, thanks for telling me where the low line was, i had no cap on it, so i would have never seen it there, but i did manage to recharge the system, it was a bit$%, but i got it and now icey cold:D thanks for the help!!!

You're required by Federal Law to have it pumped down at a certified AC shop, and have the escaping gas captured and recycled.

Or you could snap on a refill hose with no can on it. But it would be Wrong.

Watch that fog, it'll freeze the living crap outta anything it hits. This is a Fact, there is NO need to test it with your finger. Gloves and rags.
