clatter in the tranny

Ok i fixed my previous problem i posted a bit ago (clatter in the timing belt side of the engine). ended up being my a/c so i took out the compresser and saved some weight and no more clattering. I still have this odd sound when i start the car, the tranny sounds like its shakin' a small bag of rocks or marbles for a brief second, and then when i move for about a minute or so, it sounds like i have a card in a bicycle spoke. someone mentioned it might be the throwout bearing. any other possibilites? if it is the throwout, is it safe to drive like this? i mean, it feels fine and drives/shifts ok. the sound is just concerning. an aftermarket clutch (act2100) comes with a new throwout doesnt it?

Its most likely the throwout bearing. Mine does it to, push in the clutch and see if it goes away. If the sound goes away with the clutch engaged its the throwout bearing.
