Motor jolts at 3000 RPM in 3/4/5 gears...

Hi all. Just today I installed a K&N FIPK, Denso Iridium plugs, and a set of Magnecor wires. I noticed that afterwards, when I hit around 3000 RPM in any gear above 2nd, the car jolts for a second or so. Is there any reason it would be doing this? Everything else on the car is STOCK. The only reason I replaced the plugs/wires/intake was because it was time for a tune-up anyway. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

sounds like what my car is doing. does the engine also make a loud popping noise?
