my check engine light turned on so i scanned it and my scanner read a bad 02 sensor. it said 02 sensor bank1 sensor2. does anyone know what bank1 sensor2 means? any help is appreciated. thanks

Yep I'm pretty sure its the 2nd o2 sensor located at the cat, downstream. It doesn't really do anything except make sure your cat is workin alright and i believe there is a way to solder a resistor to the wires to trick the ECU into thinking that its working properly.

This o2 sensor doesnt affect your A/F ratios, mpg etc, and I ran my car without it for 2 years with no problems. But if you feel the need to spend $100+ go for it :thumb:

thanks for the 411. i wasnt even aware of a second 02 sensor down by the cat. will definitely get it fixed cause the check engine light bothers me
