Searched around and didnt really find help. The setup - 97 tsi awd with complete 6 bolt swap.Black top cas with rre harness. The problem- starts right up but odles really shitty and than dies.Plus its running rich. What I have done so far - checked isc and mas, they are fine. Checked spark plug gaps - fine. Compression - 150 across the board. Timing is fine. What else? I know one of the plug wires is shot, so my next step is gonna be trying to replace that. But I didnt think a bad plug wire would give me these symptoms. Maybe the coil pack? Is there a voltage or ohms test I can do to check the pack?
Any help is appreciated!

Yes, defintally the plug wire that shot is proablly going to be most of the problem. This will be a misfire, and the motor will run rough, and possibally die. If the wire is bad, and your not getting spark. Don't keep trying to run the motor, if your not getting spark on that cylinder. With no combustion and spark. you'll be washing down the cylinder walls, and this will lead to failure of the motor.

Swaped in new wires....no good.Still does the same thing. I monved it out of the garage and around my driveway, but when I let off the clutch and push the gas in, it barlely moves foward (no torque) im gonna double check the timing, and coil pack.Any other ideas?
