Ok so here goes, i installed my safc2 today went pretty good...Turned it on worked great after i went through the setting...But when i turned the car off then turned it back on all the SAFC2 SETTING would be reset and i have to do them over... So i went to go cheak the power wire (RED) on the safc with a test light to see if it was getting power with the ignition off because i was guessing it needs constand power for it to not be reset? Im not sure if i had the key turn to the on postion of off tho. Anyway i went to test the power RED wire with my test light and it sparked somehow im not sure if part of the test light hit the metal and go shorted out iduno. But noe the SAFC wont turn on and the car wont turn over will just crank! Is ther ea fuse i blew or did i #### up the ECU????

Make sure your wiring is right. Sounds like your using a 12v keyed wire for the main 12v constant. That would make it so the memory only lasts as long as its on.

Yea thats hwat i thought thats why i wanted to test with the test light if i was getting power with the ignition off but i think i had the key turned onto accesory when tested the postive wire with my test light and shorted something out...Anyone have any ideas?
