I just purchased a 95 Talon Tsi, it has a ton of aftermarket stuff done to it.

The motor was professionally rebuilt has rods and pistions, crankshaft balanced and something else. And alot of other stuff.
Evo III 16 Turbo w/ manifold--custom turbo back exhaust
Plex Air/Fuel Wideband 02 sensor, Profec B Boost controller, Apex SAFC II, APexi Turbo Timer, 550cc fuel injectors, 255lph walbro fuel pump, NGK Type R plugs, FMIC, CRYO2 Intercooler spray kit, K&N FIPK, Turbo XS RFL BOV, and a bunch of other stuff too much to list, but if more info is need let me know.

Anyway the car runs strong, but I think it needs tuned properly or something its really fast suppose to run high 11s @25psi, now I keep at 8psi and it goes through gas like crazy. I averaged alittle over 21 mpg on full tank of 93 octane with Lucas Fuel Injector additive. And I must say I drove the car with 100% reserve using cruise control, smooth shifting and low city speeds, and smooth highway speeds. I know this car has to get better gas mileage than that. Im not sure about the 02 wideband sensor but it fluctuates like crazy moving constantly and so does the oil pressure gauge not as motionful but still fluctuates. You can smell the fuel as if it was raw at certain points. And literally watch the fuel gauge drop like a bad habit on certain occasions and then on others much slower. I really need to figure this out as it is a daily driver but i force myself to stay away from the enjoyment of driving it because it is so gas costly. Please help me. Any question s for more infor just let me know Ill be happy to answer to figure out this problem

wow 21mpg thats pretty good for a DSM!

I I get about 15Mpg or so around town with a about the same setup......Dunno about the highway but me Babying it and driving like a grandma I might see 20TOPS!.....

These are 4 Cylinders but NOT known for Being gas sippers  Turbos cars just dont get great MPG Esp. Tuned to run 11's

Check if you have any fuel leaks. My FWD gets way better gas mileage than my AWD. In my opinion, the AWD consumes gas like a V6!

23 is about the best they'll get. 21 sounds right for your mods, if you're using any of them. If you want mileage like an economy car, drive it at economy car speeds and acceleration rates.
