Completed modifications and now car won't start. By not starting I mean, engine turns over but won't fire. I'm not getting spark.

Car ran fine prior to modifications.

Upgrades/modifications done after last successful start:
Balance shafts removal,
port and polish Head,
BC 272 cams,
bc valve springs and retainers,
onsuku cam gears,
all belts changed,
new Cam sensor,
new crank sensor,
new plugs,
new battery,
new starter

Facts: Coil and ignition module are good, checked all grounds, ecu is good, fuel pump is turning on
Timing is also good (all marks lined up and belts are nice and snugged.

What could be the issue, any ideas?

And yes, I did do a search.

Do a general walk through of your whole engine, and check that everything plugged in.
I mean everything.
CAS
MAF
Etc.
Then get back to us, I hope you find your problem :)

Hooked up DSMLink; no CEL present.

Man. I'm wracking my brain to try to find out what this is.
Alright I'm gonna try my best to get your engine running, so here goes.
Is your fuel tank empty?
Are your battery terminal connections loose or corroded?
Do you have a leaking fuel injector?
What about a faulty fuel pump or pressure regulator etc.
Is fuel reaching the fuel rail?
The ignition components may be damp or damaged.
How's the wiring in the starting circuit?
Loose distributor or crank angle sensor is changing ignition timing
Faulty coil?
Just run through all of these, and let's hope for the best.

I appreciate the assistance.

Fuel tank is about half full

Battery terminal are clean and tight

Fuel pump is turning on (can hear it wine)

Ignition components should be dry, it hot as heck in Texas and my car been sitting in the elements for about 6 months now. I'll take another look at it.

Coil has been swapped and I get the same results.

Thanks!

I remember when I was getting a no spark condition I got a brand new Cam angle sensor and crank angle sensor from Autozone. I installed the parts and it still wouldn't crank (even though they were brand new). I ended buying the OEM sensors and it worked fine after that. Maybe you put your trigger plate on backwards on your crankshaft, so the crank angle sensor isn't working right, or maybe you don't have the right cam gear on the right cam. There is a plate on the intake cam gear that the cam angle sensor reads off from. Did you buy adjustable cam gears, because most of them don't have the plate.

How can he throw an CEL?? His car wont turn on! AHHAHHA WOW i Guess you really do know alot!!

Your attitude is one of the worst I've seen in a while. It really demonstrates what type of 'tuner' you want to portray yourself as.

This is an excellent suggestion. I would look into this FIRST before all else.

OP:

If you replaced your crank and cam sensors, I will bet that it has something to do with that system. Since you do not have a 1G cas, you cannot unplug it and turn it as someone stated before. You will have to go the long drawn out way of diagnosing.

Do you have spark at all? or are only a set # of cylinders are firing? How are you verifying that you are not getting spark? Pull the boot out of each spark plug and use a new spark plug, then have a friend crank the engine while you hold the spark plug tip to the valve cover to see if it arcs. Do this for every cylinder and do not skip.

Use this article to check your transistor is good:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/229419-how-test-power-transistors.html

Check all plugs, as usual.

Sometimes when people put in the crank sensor and bolt the timing cover back on, the wires slip between the cover and timing tin and end up crimping or even cutting one of the wires on the harness. I would visual inspect all wiring is good.

Yes I have adjustable cam Gears, found out the hard way that it didn't have a plate, so I had to drill a plate onto it. Still no spark

And your positive your ECU is good? I've had two fail on me overnight. I assume you've checked all fuses/fusible links?

Found the issue, after about 6 months dealing with this and spending days trying to figure it out, and spending money I don't have...this issue was one little wire coming off my q45 throttle body.

One little wire wasn't connected; one I twisted it to it's partner my car started right up. Life was great for a moment until I found out that I have a massive oil leak some ware.

That's another challenge.

Thanks everyone for you input!
