High idle after DSMlink and 750's install

Okay, I installed my DSMlink and my 750's yesterday and I can not get the idle below 1700. Its annoying I have tried the Biss and there are no boost leaks.

My question is would the bigger injectors be dumping more fuel in at idle to make it idle so much higher?
 
Let's see an idle log with iscposition, tpsvolts, throtpos, airflowperrev, and ltft lo logged. Make sure the car is warmed up.

That was from yesterday before I changed what you told me to do. But even after that its still idles high.

But when I shut the car off and start it back up a couple of mins later, it will idle normal until I put a load on it and then come to a stop at a light or what not it will idle high agian.

Unmetered air is entering your engine. This is why your g/rev is low and could also be the idle problem. Do you have the side of the valve cover vented? The biss will change g/rev also. G/rev should be around .27.

Try the simulate idle switch feature. Go to ecu/logfile and click on tps. There will be a box you can check for simulate idle switch.
 
Okay, I did that and as soon as I did the idle dropped to normal.

That worked. Im going to head over to the garage to do another blt.

AFR is the higher the number lean lower the number rich correct?

Since that worked it indicates that the isc is bad. The good news is you don't need to fix the isc since you have dsmlink and can simulate it like you have.

Yes. 16.0:1 is leaner than 10.0:1 for exmple.

You did say in your other thread that your base timing is set at 5* right?

Im going to check agian tomarrow night.

I the car idle jumps like it has idle surge still. Im going to bump the idle to 900 because thats were it seems happy. I have the cams and I wonder if that is what is causing the "idle surge" symptoms.

I have to bolt the stupid front driver axle holder back up to the block tomarrow and I will redue the timing too. That bracket is rattling off the exhaust.

Im going to the local drag strip this friday and I am going to put the MBC on tomarrow also and try to get a 16psi set up ready for friday at the track.
 
I only ask about the timing because it can throw off your g/rev also.

The cams are likely a reason for your idle problems. With my fp2's the car idles like stock at 1,000rpm. I haven't tried to get it to idle at the stock 750 though.

I love the way they idle, but sometimes it kills the motor every once in a while.
