Ran several logs today here are the first and last, as I was making adjustments to the SAFC-II. From the 1st to 4th log looks like I'm getting closer to tuning out the knock? Suggestions, advice, rants, etc... welcome.



Aug.3rd 85degrees

16psi - 94 octane, Fuel Pressure 38psi

SAFC Throttle Points - 1k, 1.6k, 2K, 2.6k, 3k, 3.6k, 4k, 4.6k, 5k, 5.8k, 6.4k, 7k. (Should I just move them to 1k,2k,3k,4k,5k,6k,7k ??? )

I'm almost in the +% with the SAFC-II high setting that seems like a lot of fuel for 550cc on a 2g MAS and 14b? No?
 
Damn something got screwed up when posting, the numbers are all shifted to the left, hard to read that.

Try to get a .doc posted Monday morning.
 
It is a little hard to read but you have tuned out a good bit of knock. The first log shows a considerable amount of knock above 5k and your ignition timing suffers severely. On your last log knock is kept to a minimum and the timing curve is looks pretty good 9 10 11 12 13 15, then it drops off at 6k. A stock timing map shoud peak at about 15, 16 and stay there. The knock count goes up at 6k too so I would richen it up some there. I never tune by just a narrowband o2 sensor but if your o2 sensor is working properly then most people want to see between .92 and .95v at wot.

Trying to figure out what happened between 6031RPM - 6281RPM - 6156RPM on second log?

Is that a miss-fire ? I have new plugs , but my plugs have some miles on them, one coil is chipped but boot covers sufficiently?
