i put a new battery in my 95 talon tsi and then i went to star it and the fuel pump wouldnt turn on and my cluster, vents, and cd player wouldnt turn on but i blew the choke ignition fuse so i replaced that and got my evrything back except the fuel pump it just turns over when i turn the ignition on and it doesnt turn on so i tapped a wire going directly to the battery on the power wire of the pump and it turned on so then i thought it was the relay so i replced thst snd it still wont turn on so i have asked a couple mechanics and they said the worst it could be is that i fried the computer and i have a computer for a eclipse gst are they interchangable i dont think so because of the awd

2g ECUS are the same, no matter the trans or the years from 95-99, just the 95's are epromed. good luck.

Transmission doesn't matter. The only 2g ECU that will not work on the OP's car is an eprom, which come from 95 cars and have an E to start the serial number. Speed governor... why does that matter?

Trans dont matter, A/T's have a TCU to control the trans, manuals do not.

Just to clarify (so people don't get the wrong idea) for those who come here on a future search: 2g non-turbo ECU's (Chrysler) are in no way compatable or interchangeable with 2g turbo ECU's.

yeah i did't forget about the n/a's just figured since we are in a turbo forum id just mention that the 2g "turbo" ecus are the same, but anyrate, :thumb:

well i put the computer from a 97 gst and the fuel pump turns on and it fires but wont start but i think it might be bad gas im going to spray starter fluid in it see if it starts if it does im going to empty the gas tank
