I recently did a timing belt, tensioner, and pulleys on my 6 bolt, all Oem. Engine had 150k on it and decided to freshen it up. Checked and rechecked everything and put it all back together. Started her up and everything was ok, idled her a bit and flicked the throttle a few times. Let it get to operating temp and shut it down. Then I saw this! Timing belt seems to be hanging off towards the valve cover about 1-2mm. It was put on striaght and true. This kind of boggles me, I've done many timing belts on these cars and have yet to see this. Any ideas before I rip it apart? Also the harmonic balancer seems to rub on the timing belt cover as well...
