So I was having some wheel bearing issues on the 1g. It is a 91 GSX. It is the front driver wheel. The bearings inside are two pieces (inner & outter). Everywhere I go only sells a single bearing unit. I don't know if that is a revised version or not. The problem is that my inner race for the bearing is torn into from the bad bearing. Will the new bearing replace the old bearings and there races? I had seem a vfaq on here that was super detailed but can't seem to find it anymore. any help is appreciated.

Mitsubishi sells all the parts individually. I just did wheel bearings on both sides. Use the VFAQ site in the above post. It is very helpful

The wheel bearing(s) are both housed in a single outer race. If the Inner race is as tore up as you state, it absolutley needs replaced. Great care must be taken upon re-installation or, you'll be buying yet nother bearing. While the shop manual will state that this needs 'pressed' in, if you have the proper tools ( A big ole' hammer, the proper patience and some heacy duty washer that 'seat' atop the bearing races, re-installation is relatively easy. Polish the shaft and apply light oil before begining. Oh, you'll have to really tighten down on the hub nut too when finalizing.

When I did mine it was so bad I had to replace the entire hub along with the bearing. I just took mine to a machine shop. He charged me $10 and had it ready it like a half hour. You can use a BFH if you don't have access to a machine shop but like vkish stated above you run the risk of damaging the bearing.
