ok so my car was really bogging under full WOT and I was like ok its probably just the spark plugs. so I change them and it ran good like for 2-3 days until I actually ran it hard. I was racing a cavalier and i lost. and I know thats not good at all cause i have a 90 GSX stock everything except for Type S bov.
and so i replaced all the plugs with NGK BPR6ES's and new wires.
all the plugs seem to have spark but when i pull the plug from the 2nd cylinder the idle stays the same and the plug is as clean as when i first bought them.
but here is a pic of 2 of my old plugs.:cry::cry::cry:

I need serious help and yes ive searched.
what would could cause the the 2nd cylinder not to fire? if all the plugs have spark.

please help me!!!

well if the plugs are still clean i would guess you are getting spark but possibly no fuel. Check your injector wires and such.

You need three things for the cylinder to run. Spark, fuel, and compression.
First, make sure you have spark at the plug. Pull the plug, connect the wire to it, make sure that the threads are resting on the cylinder head (properly grounded), and start the engine. It will make a lot of noise with the plug out but will not do any damage in a short period of time. If you have spark, you will see it clearly.

Next, check for fuel. With the engine cold, start it up. The reason I say run it cold is 'cause the ECU is running the fuel mixture rich to warm the car up and working the injector harder than at normal operating temps. Check the connector on the injector, wiggle the wires to check for something loose. If the injector is working, there should also be a audible ticking sound coming from it, it's hard to hear sometimes, but it is there. Now, shut the car down before it gets to warm and pull the plug. If you are getting fuel to that cylinder, with the engine running rich and the cylinder not firing, the spark plug should be wet with gas.

If you have spark and fuel, the last thing to do is a compression test.
If that cylinder comes up zero, you have a burnt exhaust valve/valve seat.
If that cylinder comes up low you more than likely have worn rings in that cylinder. In most cases, you need at least 85 psi for combustion.

(Note) It's been our experience (three separate stock engines) that the factory exhaust valves start burning out at around 120-140K miles.
