My car runs perfectly up to 4000 rpms, then losses all power. It sounds like a misfire, it cuts out even worse at 5k and I'm to timid to push it beyond that. I've had this problem before and after complete engine swap, new ecu, new fuel filter. I've swapped airflow meters, my brake booster sprung a leak recently due to faulty check valve, but the problem was around before that. I have logged it with the palm, I didn't log everything, I'm not sure why. I don't know if this link will work or not, I'm not sure how to host a csv file. It's registering up to 5 knocks intermittently, afm signal is between 12-1300 when it cuts out, I'm running minimum boost, 9psi.

edit: plugs/wires are new, gapped to .029

How old are your plug wires? Check to see if theyre plugged in all the way inside the valve cover and inside the coil pack. Do you know what/which cylinders are misfiring? It could be one of the injector o-rings.

no codes, everything is sealed, with the exception of the brake booster, which only sprung a leak recently.

I'm hoping someone with more dsm experience can view them to point out something that may be wrong. I have looked at them but I don't know what's normal and what is not.

just let me know if the knock and timing pull is normal
