So I went and saw this guys car today, 97 AWD Talon. I called him a week before just to inquire info and thats all. I didn't tell him that I wanted to see it or anything. I call him this afternoon saying I want to see, he said sure, he'd call me as soon as he got it back from the garage for an oil change. As soon as he pulls up I pop the hood and the smell of burning oil soaks the engine bay. There is no visible oil on the exhaust, in the bay, or on the ground. No smoke out exhaust either. The turbo is a new t25 but broken in. During the oil change the guy changed the turbo oil feed line because it was cracked. He said the car had regular oil changes but it sure as heck didn't smell like it. Maybe oil spilt during the change? Any advice?
