high idle after bogging acceleration

Ok, my car is having a couple issues. For the past couple months I have been putting mods on my car and today I started her up. I let the car warm up and then I gave it a little gas and it bogged before actually accelerating. After I let off the acceleration the idle stayed pretty high(2k-3k). Does anyone have any ideas what can cause this?

Did the problem start after you installed the FMIC? If so, I'd definitely check for boost leaks...also are you recirculating your BOV?
Also check your idle sensor, make sure its on properly and that the wires aren't twisted up or hanging by a thread (they were on my car and it took me forever to figure it out)

I'm not recirculating my BOV. What wires are you talking about?

Right where you can rev up your car, between the intake manifold and firewall, there is a black plug with 2 wires sticking out of it...just make sure those 2 wires are ok.
But when those wires got messed up on my car, the idle was really jumpy, but it's worth it to just take a peek at them.

And I would definitely try recirculating your BOV, see if that changes anything. It may take your ECU a few minutes of idle time to fully adjust to the change, but usually venting to the atmosphere will cause idle problems.

I'm sorry, I meant I'm not venting the BOV to the atmosphere. I accidentally typed it wrong.
