Key fob suddenly not working..will not program..??

So my key fob suddenly decided to stop working. I put new batteries in it & tried to reprogram it..didn't work. I bought a new keyfob from keylessride.com & tried programming it, with no luck. Anybody have any ideas? The unlock & lock buttons in the car still work like they should.

One possbility could be your keyless brain went bad. But i dont really know how to check a factory one. You may be better off getting a new keyless installed.

The receiver is behind the driver's side rear seat side panel so hold the fob within 1 foot of it. Also did you try to program it like this: http://members.aol.com/SilverSebring/program.pdf

The fob doesn't program: the module in the car learns the signal the fob broadcasts.

I don't like that the car's not learning. Just in case it might be interference, try doing it in a different location.

Yes I tried to program it exactly like that..both with the new fob & the old fob. I will out the receiver when I get home.

I bought a new key fob and the link doesnt work anymore on how to reprogram it. Can someone please enlighten me on how to program the key fob?

I would hate to wake up an old thread but has anyone found the problem? I also have the same issue and might just change out the module.
